The Port Authority is invested in developing minority, women-owned, local, Queens-based, and small business enterprises, as well as connecting them with contracting opportunities at the LaGuardia Redevelopment Program, including the AirTrain LGA project. These projects all have a nation leading utilization goal rate of 30% for MWBE participation. For participation, MWBE firms are required to be certified by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and/ or NYS Empire State Development.

AirTrain LaGuardia Contracting Opportunities
The LaGuardia AirTrain will provide a sustainable and reliable travel option to LaGuardia Airport. It will remove millions of vehicles from congested highways and local roads each year. The transformative AirTrain project will help drive the region’s economic recovery by creating 3,000 union construction jobs and more than $500 million in business contracting opportunities for minority and women-owned businesses and local, Queens-based businesses. Terminal B Contracting Opportunities
LaGuardia Gateway Partners is the operator and developer of the new state-of-the-art Terminal B at LaGuardia. The LGP team is committed to fostering growth and independence in our communities and is actively seeking certified MWBE’s to help build and operate the new terminal.
